Portugal, Majorca or Spain recommendations

Please help me narrow down my search for a holiday next year.

looking for:
*family friendly
*has a buzz about it in an evening (shops, restaurants)
*beach front hotel
*ideally less than 45 min transfer from airport

extra points for hotel recommendations with an entertainment team/day activities for almost teenagers

Can’t help on the beach front hotel or hotel recs but Lagos, Portugal ticks all other boxes

Regarding the transfer, almost everywhere in Majorca is less than an hour in a taxi. On the other hand, almost everywhere can be 2 hours or more if you get the tour operator's transfer because what takes time is not the driving, it's waiting for the bus to fill up and then touring the hotels in the resort. The same will apply in most other places — the airport usually isn't more than 60–80km away but the driving distance is not what generally causes the tedious waiting.
