We were there earlier this year. It was fab! I'd say the lodges were more comfortable than Center Parcs. Not as frenetic - much more relaxing. It was nice having the log burner and the jacuzzi which we made a lot of use of.

Lots to do around and about. We went to Eden Camp which was amazing and the GoApe which was great fun. There's a nice forest centre there with a good cafe. Pickering is a nice place to mooch around. Also had a day at Whitby but could easily have gone to Scarborough or Filey. The onsite restaurant/bar is very friendly although closed about 8pm.

Very chilled out break. I'd recommend it.

We liked it.

Dirty, grimy cabins, no staff and the electricity went off on our final day.
We left early.

Our cabin was immaculate. I'd say the furniture - sofas and beds were comfier than Center Parcs.

There wasn't many staff around other than in the shop and cafe but I don't know why you'd need a lot?

Staff to cook breakfasts that were advertised would have been good
I felt sorry for the staff that were there tbh

This is all great thankyou! The prices are great I was just hesitant because at that price would the lodges actually be any decent
