Having spent the pre-school era in resorts with kids clubs, the kids are now a little older and I’ve realised they just want to swim in the pool and build sandcastles on the beach.
This is making me think I need no longer need all the bells and whistles of a resort and could just rent an apartment so beach and pool are both adjacent and they’d be happy for the week. Also appeals to DH and I are potentially bring a little more peaceful than a resort.
Any recommendations? Criteria are:
- 2 bed apartment
- shared pool
- close to a mini supermarket
- beachfront
- walkable to a town or village would be a plus
- air con
Thinking of either Europe for the summer or Florida for winter sun.
