I've just signed for a letter to DH rfom www.seasonsholidays.com/ telling him he's won a prize to the vlue of £3750 in this month's daily Internet/ Grand Prize Draw.

Having checked out their website, it's obvioulsy a time share company, so DH will probably not bother to call to claim.

What do you think? Is it worth following up?

my mum and dad with seasons, really considering selling. From they experience this is how they recruit you. To get the holiday you have to sit through thier selling presentation. If you dont buy you still get the holiday so worth claiming as long as you can resist thier hard sell tactics

Thanks - there is no way we would/could buy from them, so we should be safe.

lynette - I won one of these last year, The small print said I'd won the holiday but had to pay about 1,200 to have the actual holiday in some form of maintenance payment or something. It's all a bit of a con so I didn't bother.

Shame as I was dead excited at the thought of a holiday

Lynnette I had something similar a few years ago.

The prize to the value of £3750 is something like one week in February, no good at all to those of us with school age children.

They also want a 'management fee' of about £500

Didn't bother with it, nor should DH

we had one of these recently......but the problem was that it was also only for a family of 4, and we have 7 in ours.....

cue them saying that they did not cater for families with a disability!!!

needless to say, we turned them down!
