Talk to me about Greek Islands. Looking to book for September 2025 so have left it late. 2 adults. Never been to any of the Greek Islands & need recommendations. Anywhere within 30 minutes of an airport

@Thethingswedoforlove we booked a very basic hotel which does bed and breakfast. We checked reviews and they’re great, the hotel is very clean and the staff friendly and helpful. Breakfast is continental and limited but it’ll be fine for us as long as there’s coffee. The money we’ve saved on the hotel will be used to pay for some lovely meals out. Apparently there are some fab places so hopefully we’ll go to a different one each night. The resort we’re staying in is Sami.

Chania in Crete is charming and has an airport.

Had a fantastic time in Crete last September which we only booked in mid / late August. Being the biggest Greek island it does have something for everyone.
