Lapland recommendations?

Looking to take DD next year, but a bit overwhelmed with all the options, travel companies etc. Can anyone recommend someone they’ve used? We’d be looking at a short break rather than a day trip.

I looked briefly at Canterbury travel which seems well rated but would like to shop around a little.

I think you need to work out whether you want full on elves for the entire time or a bit of Santa plus other activities. Canterbury does the first. We ended up going for a slightly less full on experience at northern lights village and it was amazing. Suited us really well but the Santa element was about 3 hours versus some of the other tour packages will be Santa hunting for the entire time.

I suggest DIY. Ryanair fly from lots of airports to Rovamieni where you can pick up a bus to more remote ski resorts and towns. Very, very, very easy to book accommodation and then book activities direct with the providers so you can go at your own pace.

Lots of Facebook groups including Lapland on a Budget and Visit Lapland with good advice which are very helpful to get your head around different destinations.
