Eden Roc or Ikos

As the title says. We’re a family of four, one toddler, one baby.

Ikos Odissia with a Junior Suite, good flight times.
Eden Roc is a Suite with shared pool (straight off suite), less good flight times. But £2k+ cheaper.

anyone have any opinion on which to go for?

Have you considered Sani?

Eden Roc is normally a lot cheaper than Ikos, if it's 2k cheaper I would definitely book Ikos

IndieRocknRoll · 16/08/2025 15:18

I love Eden roc but I think ikos is probably in a different league. Haven’t stayed at Ikos so can’t compare. Happy to answer any questions about ER though.

Restlessinthenorth · 16/08/2025 15:20

I've stayed at Eden Roc. It's nice but I don't think anywhere on par with an ikos resort.

I prefer Ikos and would pay the difference but £2k is quite a difference. Go with cheaper option.

Ikos Odisia is a beautiful resort but be aware it’s very spread out so be prepared for a bit of walking if you go there.

Thanks everyone.
I wasn’t sure whether the shared pool might be something else to weigh in ERs favour? But yes Ikos does looks gorgeous.
@IndieRocknRoll whats’s the food like? I’m really anxious in buffets due to allergies so hoping to be mainly A la carte? Are they good?

thanks!

The a’la carte restaurants are pretty good and there’s quite a bit of variation to keep everyone happy. The chef at the Mediterranean restaurant is Michelin starred so it was genuinely a fine dining experience (though not for the faint hearted, the DC weren’t keen on the smoked eel or veal tartare starters 😂) We struggled to get in more than 4 during our stay though so I think you’d have to visit the buffet a few times unless you’re staying outside of school hols.
We stayed in the pool view bungalows which have their own pool & bar. The pool is really quiet & the cocktails from the bar are amazing! Not sure I’d pay a premium for it next time though as our DC preferred the beach & larger pool.

Yes expensive but divine
Sani is the hotel part and cheapest (still very very nice).
Porto Sani is low rise, gathered around a pool , and much smaller. Plus dinner is ala crate whereas buffet in Sani hotel. Pricier

Same access to beach / marina etc

what is your budget though?
