Hi,
it's a special anniversary next summer and we always said we’d go back to the Caribbean (we honeymooned in Aruba), however pricing that up comes to around £15,000 all inclusive from uk. We just can’t justify this.
We are a Uk based family of three- me, husband and 8 year old.
Has anyone got any recommendations for a special destination- special feel, white sands, chilled vibe, suitable for child, and vitally- no rush for sun beds!!!! Looking at a budget £6000- £7000. Unfortunately has to be end July, early August.
TIA.

Not a good time to visit. Risky.

JAN / Feb / March - perfect and not as expensive as December

it would only be a week for that budget though if you wanted decent

What do you class as special? For example most people wouldn’t class Rhodes as special but we stayed in a fabulous hotel (AI) and I would deffo back. We try to visit new places we’ve not been before though. Do you mean once in a lifetime???

@teatimefortigerGood point. It doesn’t have to be once in a lifetime or exotic, as such, just a lovely beach/pool with a bit of a luxury feel- not crowded or racing for sun beds …

Have a look at Ela, Hilton or Movenpick resorts. All are wonderful and have everything you’re asking for. All inclusive is great - drinks on tap with no restrictions and amazing food. Nothing ever feels too busy or crowded and never any competition for sunbeds. We’ve done Movenpick in Egypt and Hilton and Ela in Turkey and loved them all. You can do as many days out/excursions as you like, doesn’t have to be all in the resort.

We've been to Mauritius in August, it's out of season so not the most expensive time, but still high 20's. It was absolutely gorgeous. We went for about 5k 2 years ago.
