My sister will be 30 this sunday, I have no idea what to get her...

I know her husband has not got anything planned and I really dont want her to feel unloved on this big birthday... Espically as she gave her dh a big surprise birthday party..

I need 2 things:

1- ideas for a present i can get for her - not too expensive but thoughtful..

2- ideas of a nice surprise her husband can give her.. but not a birthday party!!

Any suggestions welcome...

Well, nil pois for the husband striaght away.

For her, could you get some pics of when you and she were little and make them into an album? Or is time of the essence?

If it is, how about a book of baby sitting tokens she can 'cash in' when she wants a night away.
I think a lovely necklace is a nice pressie...or a hamper full of pampering products, all wrapped up in cellophane.

Doesn't have to cost the earth. I'll keep thinking and come back later

thanks for your help, I like your ideas, I know she would love an album with baby pictures in them so that could be one idea..

My sisters gave me an album of photos of me from a baby till now for my 40th and I cried and cried - was the best present ever. I'd go with that.

for a surprise her dh can give - how about a surprise night out at a lovely restaurant? He doesn't tell her where but tells her to get dressed up, arranges a cab to collect her and meets her there or at a bar? Like a lovely date

thanks for the ideas... I'm definelty going to get some pics together for an album, I've got to get moving though, only got till sunday...

I'm really not sure if she would be happy with a just a meal with her husband as she put so much time and effort into his birthdayparty.. why are men so useless...

Also do you think it is a good idea to do just childhood pics, or pics upto the present? Including her children etc?
