Very luxurious Family friendly UK resorts/hotels

Hi! Looking for a high end UK short stay which is very very family friendly - I.e. no posh old people/couples tutting if my child jumps in the pool or shouts happily! Does this exist?! Open to any type of accommodation as long as it’s considered luxury and swimming pool (possibly private?) is a must. There is only 3 of us but we like a seperate living area to bedrooms. Thanks

Chewton Glen

very child friendly (kids club, spa treatments, special menu) they have a pool and the tree houses have private hot tubs.

I also find a lot of the big London hotels are great with children

How old is your child? And do you need childcare? That’s the biggest decider

The Grove
Hertfordshire

Four Seasons Hampshire

I’d recommend any of the Luxury Family Hotels (that’s the website). I was very lucky to stay one night at Woolley Grange which we got as a gift but if I could choose any of them I’d pick Moonfleet Manor because I love Dorset.

Another vote for Four Seasons Hampshire

Gleneagles would fit the bill.

Also here to suggest Gleneagles.

Coworth Park has a kids' summer program

Rockliffe Hall and Spa
The children's swimming times are slightly restricted but there's lots of other activities to do during that time.

Thanks for this / do you mind recommending the London hotels please?

5 - no need for kids club as we like to spend time all together

The Newt is v family friendly and a step above most other luxury hotels IMO, but it really is very expensive now, so depends how high end you're talking!

XelaM · 15/08/2025 14:34

Best child-friendly luxury hotel we ever stayed in is the Legoland hotel. It's magical.

Moonfleet Manor, Dorset or Bedruthan Steps, both super family friendly but pretty special

DancingNotDrowning · 15/08/2025 16:58

Ham Yard and lanesborough are my favourite, the former has a bowling alley but no pool and the lanesborough has a pool and organises treasure hunts and gives passes for free ice cream.

Both are lovely for parents too of course

Mydadsbirthday · 17/08/2025 00:30

Oh yes another vote for Moonfleet Manor!
