Book a canal boat trip. NEMO museum. Vondelpark. Zoo. Trains are great there so you can get to the beach at Zandvoort. Lots of space and beach clubs to eat at. If you have a car I really recommend the Open Air museum.

2 weeks time the Grand Prix will be on in Zandvoort so maybe not the best time to visit.
At 7 my DD adored NEMO, she also enjoyed Anne Frank's house we had taken her through the material to help under 10s understand before we went. As a 21 year old she is a huge advocate for equality and inclusivity and I think that experience was very formative for her. She also enjoyed the canal boats.

I really recommend the pancake boat cruise and Nemo, but do Nemo when it opens as it gets noisy and busy later in the day.

The Resistance Museum is superb, and it has a children’s exhibition which is excellent, for both adults who havn’t had a Dutch education and children. Everything has an English translation.

However, the content of the museum might be a bit old for your DC, except the 10 year old.

I wouldn't go to Zandvoort in 2 weeks time. Dd is going for the Dutch Grand Prix and has had to book cafes to have breakfast weeks ago, the place will be RAMMED.

Saying that, if they do like Motorsport the F1 exhibition is on in Amsterdam but you have to buy tickets in advance and it isn't cheap for a whole family.

A canal trip is nice.

How about Efterling? And reminder, if you want to do the Big Museums and Galleries, get booking now. And Rijks gets really busy and really hot.

The maritime museum has two themed rooms for kids. The one on the second floor is basically a small indoor playground.
Wondr is excellent. Very sensory. Try go to Kids Time as it’s cheaper and preferably right at the opening in the morning. We were there for the opening at 10 and so it was still quiet, and we were completely alone in most of the rooms (although this was October!)
One of the best meals we had was at Groote Melkhuis. Very fmaily friendly and a good menu for kids.
