Greek villa recommendations

Just driving myself mad trying to find a decent Greek villa in a place which is super near the beach and somewhere with cheaper flights in - can’t decide where to look but quiet places would be better. Anyone any Grecian wisdom to share?

We recently stayed in a lovely villa near Spartilas in Corfu. It’s not close to the beach though, but had its own pool.

That sounds lovely @KnickerlessParsons (and I love your name) but the beach is needed. It’s for me - I am not on holiday if I can’t wake up and run into the sea! I would go in a tent on the sand but the other buggers are fussier.
