Going on holiday to Lake Iseo in a few days, just wondering if anyone has been and has any recommendations? There is loads of information and advice about the larger lakes but much less so about this one! Thank you in advance:)

We went 2 years ago and had one of the best holidays of our lives.
Stayed in Lovere, actually in a villa just up the hill via a terrifyingly steep and narrow road but both we and the teens loved it. The whole area was beautiful
Not many English people there but English is generally spoken and everyone was really nice
Would love to go back

Thank you, that's really encouraging!

We stopped for one night driving back from southern Italy a few years ago and LOVED it . Have always meant to organise something to go back properly but haven’t got round to it - zero British people , lots of Italian families / tourists - just a really nice atmosphere . We stayed in a campsite just outside of Iseo Town which we thought was a really buzzy place :)

We flew into Bergamo and as the flight arrived late we booked a B&B near the airport. The next morning the owners were asking where we were going next and when we told them they told us that we had made a great choice as it was much better than the more popular lakes such as Como. They said we had "picked the right one"
