Skiathos: Lalaria beach, is it worth it?

Trying to decide if a trip to Lalaria is worth it or not, it is our last day in Skiathos; and heading to Skopelos tomorrow. I don’t particularly enjoy crowds or sitting or swimming on top of people .

Opinions vary, any advice would be appreciated.

We had booked to go but the ship couldn’t dock because of strong winds. It is supposed to be beautiful but very little shade and no toilets etc. Skopelos was fab and we also visited the island next to it which was very traditional and beautiful.

Thank you. So you head there and had to return as the boat couldn’t dock? Or your trip was cancelled before hand.

Thinking we may give it a miss.

We ended up sailing to another part of the island.
