Taking gel Ice packs on plane

Am thinking of taking a couple of those gel packs that you can put in the freezer (or heat up) on holiday as they help with my back pain. Can't see any info about taking them on an aeroplane either in hand luggage or the hold. Assuming they count as liquids. Any advice? TIA

They’ll be fine in hold luggage , in the cabin they’d need to meet the liquids regulations

100ml only in the cabin
Fine in the hold
