Can anyone recommend a villa in France that sleeps 4 and has a private pool please?
We would like somewhere walking distance to shops and restaurants and near water.
14 and 10 year olds coming along so need things to keep them occupied.
Thank you!

If no one comes along look up the ‘Gites de France’ website. Lots on there to start you off.

Probably not the standard you’re after, but we loved our rental with private pool (albeit a small pool!) at this campsite https://www.lapascalinette.com/rentals/mobile-home-super-premium-quintessence-en/Walking distance from a sandy beach (which wasn’t too busy even in the height of summer) and a small town with shops, cafes and restaurants. The dc absolutely loved the waterslides at the shared pool and there are kids clubs for 8-12 year olds and 12-17 year olds.

Premium mobile home for 4 guests with private pool

Air-conditioned accommodation at our seaside campsite in the Var, with 2 bedrooms for 4 guests, terrace and private pool.

Thank you both. We are more than happy with a campsite. We stayed at a beautiful one in Croatia recently.
we just like having space and things to do without it being too busy (hard to find in the school holiday!)

Thank you, I’ll have a look.
Some places haven’t started taking booking for next August yet so I’m struggling to get prices.

Your remit is rather large! Are you you driving? Do you need / want 3 bedrooms? Do you want hot usually milder / wetter in the north, when you say water do you want sea / lake / river etc for a start.

I know! Sorry!
We are open to driving or flying. Min 2 beds and 2 bathrooms. Would prefer slightly cooler weather but would rather no rain.
Any water that we can paddle board in really.
Nice lakes or a beach rather than a river.
Walking distance to shops and restaurants. We would prefer a quieter location but with enough to keep us entertained. We don’t like full days sitting on a beach. We like to go and do something most days, that can be paddle boarding, walking around a pretty village, boat trip, water park etc
The place mentioned above looks perfect. It doesn’t need to be ‘posh’ accommodation. Just clean, enough space and in a good location.
We really done like all being in a hotel room and don’t like AI.
