French campsites near beach - not south

Hi,

Mumsnet has come up trumps for holiday recommendations before, so I’m looking for some recommendations for next August.

Looking for some recommendations for French euro camp style campsites near a nice sandy beach that are not in the south. Looking at a maximum of 10-12 hours drive from Calais. Does such a place exist?

We’ve driven to the south before but don’t fancy it again. Want to limit the drive.

Failing finding a nice place then we’ll go back to Annecy again which we loved! And maybe split that with a week somewhere en route.

there will be a lot more nearer butt his is the area I know, we had statics there for years. Heavily dominated by Siblu but great sites.

in a similar boat here, also loved Annecy. We are considering getting the saint malo boat and going to southern Brittany (2 hours drive) which we liked when we visited many years ago (pre kids). I'm eyeying up this campsite which someone on here recommended - previously stayed in a different Yelloh Village and liked it

Les Sables d’Olonnne in the Vendee, we’ve had some brilliant holidays there, although it’s not very far down it has a warm micro climate
