European Walking holidays?

Hi
Any recommendations for short walking holidays?

requirements:

  1. short break- probably max 4 nights
  2. not uk
  3. no need to carry all luggage
  4. not crazy expensive
  5. not crucial but if it was a mix of walking somewhere lovely plus other stuff (sight seeing, cooking etc) even better

we’ll be a group of 3 around 40 but we don’t need to be with people our age!

I’ve looked at HF which was well recommended but ideally a bit cheaper if possible!

thanks in advance

Lake Bohinj/Lake Bled and download routes from All Trails!

I second what @namechangeGOT said. I follow mauka travels on insta and she does amazing recommendations. Or look at Macs Adventure holidays. We always loved ours with them.

Thank you @namechangeGOTin this instance I think we’d like something organised. But Lake Bled is absolutely stunning and sounds like a perfect area to walk in, I’m going to look at organised tour in the area

@InSpainTheRain ah Macs adventures came up a lot in my googling and I’d liked the look at the Black Forest one particularly!

Pick almost anywhere in the Austrian, French or Italian Alps and use it as a base for one-day walks. Many tourist offices have guided hikes each day, or publish maps with suggested routes. Fly (or train) to Salzburg, Innsbruck etc.
