Cosy family hot tub break

I'm looking for an early October cosy hot tub stay for my other half and out 3 kids for a big birthday

Ideally not on a park, with lovely views and some gentle sight seeing/nice pubs in a reasonable distance

We are in midlands/north west but happy to travel

Forest holidays dates don't work and ideally I don't want to spend more than £500 or so

Any recommendations? I've looked at forest holidays canopy and stars air BnB etc

Not stayed there but I love the look of Ewe Lodge at Penlan Lodges. It’s on my list and would be convent location wise for you.

This is exactly the kind of thing I'm thinking of, but probably a bit too close to home (we live right on the Welsh boarder)

Catgill camping and glamping near Bolton abbey. There is Bolton abbey next door which is a big park /place to visit and walk and the Devonshire arms up the road for a nice dinner

Penllwyn Lodges in Snowdonia or Bassenthwaite Lakeside Lodges in the Lake District
