Really cheap flights

I am trying to plan a two night trip with a girlfriend in July (DH has been away loads so wants me to take a trip minus DC!!!!).

We don't want to go far (2 hr flight ish) and we can't decide where. Possibles are Vienna or Munich. We would like to mooch about a bit, see a bit of culture then stop for nice food

Any suggestions?? I know I'm being very vauge but on another thread someone mentioned £14 flights which would be great as we could then get a nice hotel room. How can I search just for a cheap flight without going through every possible destination?

Sorry - a very unclear post but I hope you'll have some suggestions!

Watch out for cheap "flights" which load on charges for baggage, check-in etc (principally Ryanair)

My DDs are flying to Pisa (from Liverpool) in early July for very low fares - Pisa is the main airport for Florence (loads of culture!) and food is fab in Tuscany.

Amsterdam? Not sure where you are in the country but it's a 45 minute flight from Leeds Bradford. When we went we were in the city centre by 9am and had a really nice weekend.

Has anyone been to Vienna? That's a possible. Might be nice for a weekend.

I also love the idea of Pisa or Amsterdam but my friend has been to both and we want to go to somewhere new.
