Formula milk after security?

Hi, would appreciate some advice please. Am travelling solo with a 8 years old and a 13 weeks old next week long haul. Baby is combi fed, was thinking of packing some powder, sterilised water in a thermos and pre made formula bottles. Was about to do a click and collect in boots for the pre made formula bottles however it cost £4.50 just to do that. Does it really make things a lot easier to have the formula bottles after security ? Thank you in advance

It’s easy to take formula through security. It might be handy to not have to carry it, but security are used to it (powder and ready made).

Yeah I always take ready made bottles through fine. I think there’s a limit to how much you can take (I think it’s 12, could be wrong though).

Thank you for that just didn’t know if it made sense to pay £4.5 for click and collect!

I think it's more of an issue how they will get on with cold milk if they are used to warm
