Help with a holiday!

Hi all,
I’m looking for a holiday for next year, end of July/early august. For 5 nights for me & dd (age 11).
Somewhere in Europe, by the beach, with a pool, dd loves history so somewhere with that in mind. Somewhere fun. We will be flying.

Is it possible to get all of this for £1000?

I think that's perfectly doable budget-wise. How about Ciutadella de Menorca or Dubrovnik? Both will be very hot at that time of year though, so will be important to time your history trips for cooler times in the day and make the most of pool when the heat peaks

Greece and the islands have a lot of history as do parts of Turkey. Many European countries have history - Italy, Spain, Croatia etc.

Rhodes or Athens could work.
