Flying with a minor

May I ask for a bit of advice please? We’re taking DGD on a long haul trip with us in a couple of days time. Her parents are drafting a letter stating we have their permission to fly with her. Do we need anything else?

A copy of your granddaughter's birth certificate maybe and your child's so it shows your direct link to her. We came back from holiday on Friday and they asked for my son's birth certificate as he has a different surname to me. Just make sure all the names match the passports though
