Snow sure ski resorts for families (4yo)

Planning ahead and trying to work out where to go for Feb half term next year. We went to Morzine this year and it was a disaster - it rained, awful snow (what was left of it), too busy, queues everywhere for the lifts, husband had wallet stolen, nothing to do if its raining with kids. Went to Avoriaz but didn't like it - dont want folie douce feel, like smaller more charming resorts/family friendly. I should add favourite resorts are Combloux, Megeve, Verbier, Les Contamines, Les Gets (out of season) La Clusaz. Like something picturesque, not crazy busy, snow sure, beautiful views, enough to do with a 4 year old. Open to anywhere in Europe. 4 year old can ski. Any suggestions would be welcome.

Montgenevre. 1800m. Can you fly to Turin? Great airport for kids and from memory about 45 mins from resort. You can ski down from most of the peaks greens or blues, so great for kids. There’s the Monty luge and a big sledging area. Right on the border of Italy (Claviere)- it’s part of the Milky Way with Sestriere etc, so get some Italian experiences too.

Obergurgl and St. Anton are both pretty reliable with lots of family friendly hotels and ski-schools.

Austria! Saalbach, Hinterglemm, Maria Alm, Zell am See, Zell am Ziller, Mayrhofen, St. Anton, Wagrain, Rauris, Kirchberg in Tirol/Kitzbühel (and about 50 other places). Or Kronplatz just over the border in Italy.

We are going to Beitostolen in Norway which I was recommended.
