Help! we're flying in the morning to south of france. Bringing my son's girlfriend with us on holiday for first time. I've booked her seat - but I've put her middle name as surname and checked her in.
Can't get through to anyone in Ryan air - has anyone know if you can change a name at the airport?
I've already checked her in - with her middle name as surname - so will have to 'uncheck' her I guess. Any advice/experiece, to help me sleep better tonight!

Keep trying to contact them - it’s likely going to cost you though!

It’s £30 each way to uncheck somebody and then the make change fee I think is £45 each way

You can change it at the airport - they might charge you quite a bit to change it, or they might be nice and let it slide, as it's clearly an honest mistake (and I assume her first and middle name match her passport?)

I would a) get to the airport early b) go to the Ryanair ticket desk (not bag drop) and explain that an honest mistake has been made. Fingers crossed they are nice and let it slide without charging.

Don't panic - it will be okay either way!

thanks! reassuring! Yes we're planning to be there early. It's her correct middle name, which is also a common surname, think "Taylor" or "jones" hence my error booking flights in haste!
