Hello, been a couple of good threads on this but Ehrwald not coming up when I search.
We've been to the Leutasch valley (3 hotels, moved on every two days) and Lake Achensee (stayed put). Loved both and walked masses. DH is a better walker than I am, and may want to do some other stuff like via ferrata, so some variety is good so I can have a gentler day lower down (Achensee won on this front but we probably wouldn't want to go much bigger/busier/more resort-y - it was perfect for us). We both like running too so some flattish trails are a bonus.
So if anyone has been to Ehrwald and can comment on the walking, or the infrastructure, that would be great. Or any other ideas. Just dh and me (middle aged, reasonably fit, I like an Austrian spa hotel 😀 we like going by train if possible, at least one way,).
