2 weeks too much?

I’ve only ever done a week on all inclusive with kids, would 2 weeks be too much?
I’d love to get away and break up the 6 weeks as I find it gets boring and days out are costly & tiring so thinking chilling in an all inclusive where kids can hopefully make friends and all play together. Is this unrealistic?

Do two breaks of one week each.

I think it’s be too expensive doing it that way, I’m on a budget @BreezyPeachGoose

I think 10 days is optimum

Could you look at 10 nights rather than two weeks trial it out as sometimes I find two weeks too much in an all inclusive resort you end up being bored and counting down heading home, I can understand doing two weeks or more if your in likes of America, Canada etc due to flights but anywhere in Europe I would look at 10 nights tops.

Fitnessmum1 · 23/07/2025 12:27

Didn’t think of ten day lol

We always take 2 weeks off and go for 10 nights for our main holiday. I think 2 weeks same place wld start to get a bit boring. Actually considering doing 2 weeks but a week in different hotels or maybe another resort.

2 weeks isn’t too long especially if you do some day trips. How about trying 9-11 days as a compromise?

Some of my favourite school holidays were 10 days all inclusive at the beginning of the holidays and then a Monday to Friday break in the UK around the August bank holiday. Two week holidays bang smack in the middle of the school holidays were great too.

I would love to go for 2 weeks but 10 days atm is our maximum as we don't like to leave our cats for too long. It depends though. We're very used to AI. But my friend went for a week AI for the first time last year and didn't even like a week of it!

jeaux90 · 27/07/2025 09:03

We do 10 days AI. We alternate every year between AI in Europe and long haul multi destination. I’ve found 10 days for the AI works well and slightly over 2 weeks for longhaul. If it’s AI in Mexico for example though do 2 weeks. It really depends on the destination

I think 2 weeks is too much. But that's my personal opinion. Unless you are going somewhere quite far like America where you would need 2 weeks due to the flying times.
I agree with other Ops.10 days would be better 🙂
