Paris with DD(6)

Hi

I’m going to Paris in a couple of weeks from Friday to Sunday - a bit of a girls trip with my DD.

We will be staying 5 minutes from the Louvre and naturally I have booked to see the Louvre, Eiffel Tower and a balloon exhibition known as Euphoria. We can visit the Royal Palace grounds, and the Tuileries Garden and the Champs Elysee as they are quite close.

Is there anywhere else we absolutely should go to if we can? Or absolutely do?

I’ve read about boat trips.

she is still young and we will sleep early - so any fab family friendly lunch or dinner restaurants that are near the Louvre area would be really welcome!

Definitely Galleries Lafayette. It has a beautiful ceiling and an amazing toy department. Dd spent ages choosing a soft toy when she was about that age.

Also go for hot chocolate at Angelina’s.

Disneyland?

Disneyland is probably a bit of a distance as we will only have two days - but next time!

The aquarium is worth a visit.
the hop on, hop off boats are good too
they also have an artificial beach by the Seine with play areas

The bouillon restaurants are lovely for their interiors and you can get a decent, traditional meal for under 20€.

The lights on the Eiffel Tower twinkle once an hour after dark. It’s really pretty but might be a bit late for your dd!

Definitely eat at Angelina’s and Happy Caffe. Great food and very child friendly.
