My son who is 15 (will be 16 in a few weeks) is travelling alone from London to Madrid to go on holiday with his friend and his family (a school friend from near where we live in London). I wasn’t able to book him on the same flight as them as they’d all been booked so I did a separate one and they can meet him at Madrid airport. I’m currently trying to organise travel insurance but can’t find an insurer that will insure him as he’s travelling alone and 15. I just wondered if anyone knew of any insurers that would do this?

you may be able to obtain a multi trip family package that covers him. The insurance package I get from my bank (lloyds) does this

As a family we have an annual policy that also covers any of us travelling alone, including any of the children. It’s with Columbus.

Have you tried Allianz? Also, if he hasn't already got one, apply for a GHIC.

He have one that does this with HSBC

Thanks all! I did manage to find and insurer that would do it! Southdowns Insurance. He does also have a GHIC card too.
