We did a whale watch from Cape Cod, spent time up in Arcadia and did the Boston Trail. Also visited the witch trial place, name escapes me! It was a good 20 years ago.

Salem witch stuff. Trip to Martha’s Vinyard - where jaws was filmed - big anniversary this year. Hyannis is fun. Chatham Bars Inn - expensive but lovely. Concord MA if you want to see Louisa May Alcotts house or the north bridge. Green Mountains in NH for hiking. LLBean in Maine for outdoor adventures - it’s the flagship store but they did kayaking etc from there. Visit a lobster shack, choose one from the tank and they will cook it for you. Nashua mall in NH for tax free shopping. New York is very driveable from Boston. Harvard is in Boston - very interesting to tour. Roger Williams Zoo in Rhode Island. Aquarium in Boston. Children’s museum in Boston.

so much to do! Enjoy 😊

If prices aren’t too high, definitely spend 4-5 nights (at least) in Provincetown. Race Point beach is very popular and good for bodyboarding. Sometimes you can see seals on the sandbar. Herring Cove has quieter water and is better for younger children.
Yarmouth is another good options for families. There’s a pirate museum and large inflatable waterpark. We also went crabbing there.

Wow thank you so much

We did a 6 week trip incorporating 2 weeks in Boston / Cape Cod area.

We did a week an NYC then drove out of Manhattan to Cape Cod via Rhode Island( loved the mansion walk at Newport) and Plimoth Plantation( also highly recommend).

Stayed on Cape Cod for a week in Brewster in a gorgeous cottage in the woods. Loved whale watching at Province town, Brewster general store
and Brewster Scoop ice cream, Marther’s Vineyard trip, Chatham, gorgeous beaches etc. Barely scratched the surface.

Then went up to Boston via Salem( not worth the hype at all). In Boston we did Harvard and MIT tours, Freedom Trail and tea party ship, stayed in a gorgeous b&b. Freedom Trail is a tad overrated as is Boston imvho. 2 days max and don’t bother with Salem.

Then went up to Maine and Arcadia- totally amazing!!!!!Back via New Hampshire and Vermont.

If it was me I’d do 2 days max in Boston and spend the rest of the time on Cape Cod. It’s actually really big and a week wasn’t enough for us.

Where are you staying op? I’m off on a few weeks and still trying to sort it all out! Think I might move around quite a bit
