Best European teen holidays

Looking ahead to next summer and wondering where we can go with DC who will be 12 and 15 by then. Yikes.

We can for a week in early July and 2 weeks in mid to late August. DH needs to use holidays up.

Our favorite holiday was probably Sardinia so keen for maybe one similar vibe holiday.

We have loved: Croatia (and been to most parts)
Italy: ditto but always up for somewhere there
France: most parts but not Corsica
Germany
Austria
Greece: Crete, Athens, about to do Cyclades
Spain: Madrid, Malaga and around; Barcelona and the coast to the north. Valencia before children. Majorca with toddlers

We tend to do city breaks in the shoulder seasons.
DC will be keen on beaches and pools. We are keen on some
culture, great scenery, clean and warm water, great food.
Tend to be self catering and don’t like brash resorts.

Any place that we haven’t been to that we should give a go for a summer focused holiday?

Lake Bled !!! We are here now and best holiday ever . It’s the most beautiful place . You can do zip lining , gorge walking , lake swimming , rafting, biking etc .
Lovely restaurants and good value .
Our gang are age 14 to 22 . Loved it !
We skied here twice but summer even better !

Did Ljubljana on the way and heading to Austria in the morning .

Kids are sporty but not huge adventurers. I’m not an adrenaline sports type of gal! We did drive through Slovenia and stayed a night in Ljubljana as part of a much bigger trip but didn’t get to the lakes. Enjoy!

we loved the area and Taormina in Sicily and there were parts that reminded me of Croatia. We managed to drag the dc away from the pool to do a jeep safari on Etna, which they loved. Amazing food!
