Last minute holidays

I’m just wondering if anyone has been lucky to ever get a last minute holiday in the six week holidays. I’ve got the last week of the holidays off, it will just be my son and myself.

A rough budget, age of your son, are you looking in the UK/Europe or further afield?

What do you both like to do? Lots of entertainment, beach, mountains, city?

Would you prefer a busy or a relaxing kind of vibe?

Im not to fussed where we go, ideally not in this country tho. Entertainment would be great, busy for an 11 year old. Our budget tops is 800 each.
