Moroccon holiday recommendations for young family

Hi we hope to go on a family holiday in December.. Kids are 15, 13 and 10. We're looking for recommendations please for a coastal hotel or any important tips for our stay.
Last time I was there was 18 yrs ago..

Do you definitely want coastal? Marrakech area will have better chance of warmth and there’s lots of family friendly resorts there eg Club Med.

Essaouira? South West coast and more relaxed than other areas.

Yes coastal please as we all surf. Have been to both Marrakech and Essouira 18 yrs ago but now looking for hotel/resort recommations. We've heard very developed now along the coast and a lot of choice so looking to narrow it down through this groups experience hopefully.

I follow a lovely travel blogger on Facebook called the Travelynn family - I’m sure Morocco is somewhere they have been to a lot with their children - worth a google to find their blog? X

Hotel Riu Tikida Dunas, Agadir though it was a few years ago now.
Agadir has long promenade with several hotels, easy for meandering along and right by beach.

Agadir is probably your best bet, lots of options hotel wise

I'd second the Hotel Riu Tikida Dunas as well, went last year and the hotel is great.
