Reliable website for holiday villas or villa resorts

Looking for a reliable site to find a small villa (could be individual or part of a resort) in Spain. We always stay in hôtels so am clueless here and through word of mouth friends seem only to want to tell us horror stories!

Following as we want a villa holiday next year. I think Tui do villa resorts and possibly Jet 2, I need to start researching properly.

villa plus were very good - we used them and had a couple of queries/requests (extra parasols) and everyone we dealt with was very efficient. Villa was lovely and well equipped.

We’ve just booked with Villa plus.

Vintage Travel were excellent - in my view they generally have a better standard of villas than Villa Plus or James but can be pricey as a result, so depends what you're looking for.

Also, we quite like staying in villa resorts so you get the best of both worlds. We stayed at Hotel Suite Villa Maria in Tenerife a couple of years ago - we had a villa with our own pool (lovely) plus we could use the bigger pool/kids club/bar etc - it's not a big hotel but it's very nice and it's just a short stroll to a marina with lots of lovely restaurants (I personally wouldn't go full board as the food choice isn't varied enough and there are great choices locally).
