I feel like I've studied every Eurocamp / Hu / Roan site that exists. I'd be so grateful for a recommendation. Though I'd settled on Bella Italia but recent TA reports not positive at all.

Me, DH, DKids 10 and 8. One week in August. Needs to be full of life, large park preferably, cycle hire, waterslides and great pools. And not silly expensive but can afford a nice place. Please, let me know your recommendations!!

We are at Domaine des Ormes just now. The pool setup is amazing - a huge tropical dome with wave machine, water slides, lazy river plus an outside aqua park and some other pools. There’s loads on site to do: zipline, water sports, pedalos, treetop adventure course, bike hire, horse riding, play park, carousel, kids club, etc.

Duinrell in the Netherlands has a water park on site but doubt you’ll get there this August. All the big ones tend to be booked by now for the summer.

Have you seen Pra delle Torri in Italy?

Marina di Venezia would be perfect. Bella Italia is smaller but still fab.
even smaller but still lively and lots to do (our favourite) is Camping del Garda

Are you bothered about which country? Are you driving?

Siblu Bonne Anse Plage and Les Charmettes for the bill. They are big parcs so not so much peace and quiet but kids love them. Loads of cycle routes, can walk to the local seaside town. Used to be able to use the facilities at both if booked into one.

Thanks everyone!

We are planning to fly. We are quite far north in the uk so just too long to get to France.

thank you I will look over all of these. Any more?!

Admittedly it was a few years back we went to Bella Italia but I thought it was completely fine. I like the proximity to the town.

Would also recommend this Yelloh Village site https://www.yellohvillage.co.uk/camping/lespetitscamarguais and Hu Camping Fabulous near Rome.

Edited to add the big negative of the Yelloh site is there are a lot of mosquitos.
