Days out from Billund

We’re spending a few days in Billund in late August staying in Llandia and we’ll have a car. We’re planning to do Lego House, Legoland, Wow Park and wondering how best to spend our other couple of days. What are your favourite day trips from Billund? -we’d like to get out and explore a bit. Kids are 11 and 8. Thank you!

We really enjoyed Givskud Zoo - it's safari style so you drive around and get out at various points. We thought it was really well done.

Vejle is a nice town to visit and not too far. There a lovely forest you can walk through and head down to a pebble beach. Also an environmental museum which was actually really good!
