Looking for ideas - I’ll be 50 next year, my son will have finished his GCSEs and I’ll have come into an inheritance. Planning a month of travel in June/July somewhere hot. Looking for adventure, good food, culture etc. Not Europe! Has to be good value for money too… don’t want to go somewhere expensive!!

Equally happy to do a small group tour or independent travel (depending on the country).

what or where is on your bucket list for a month of travel?

We're going on a big bucket list trip to Peru, Ecuador and Galapagos with post GCSE 16 yr old and end of yr 2 uni student. Also had an inheritance. Used a small private travel agent and they have organised every detail. We have a 32 page itinerary. Can't wait to go!

We loved Thailand, and have heard that Cambodia is wonderful too.

Check weather patterns as a lot of the world is rainy/stormy at that time.

I would pick Malaysia/Borneo/Indonesia region. Peru/Bolivia/Ecuador also good.

We're going to Vietnam next week for 3 weeks. Excited!

Double-check contingency dates. It's rare that it happens but if something goes wrong and they have to re-sit and you go away before the date then it will count as a non-show.
