Tipping in Turkey

Going to an all inclusive in Turkey, never been to an AI hotel before or to Turkey. Please can I have advice on what tipping expectations are? Many thanks

Last AI holiday we were on we tipped the pool bar man at the end of the stay. He always remembered our order (which changed depending on time of day) and was super friendly. Way we saw it was they generally move away from their home and families to work for the tourist season so if we could give a little extra why not.

Take some £ coins with you ...They really appreciate sterling as a tip as they save it until the end of the season when the exchange rate goes up

Sorry meant to add ..its probably worth tipping the pool guys and bar staff a fiver at the start and you'll get great service all holiday ...normally leave a fiver for the cleaner plus the occasional quid throughout to other staff ie the bell boy .

They all expect it so be prepared with some pound coins.
