Booked the wrong hotel room

Help, I’ve booked a room in a hotel, I thought I booked a double but I’ve booked a twin with two single beds! Is there anyway to resolve this? My booking is non refundable too.

Ring them. I used to work in housekeeping and it’s incredibly easy to make a twin into a double

Have you called the hotel to ask if the beds can be configured as a double? That would be my first port of call

I’ve just sent them an email, I’m hoping they reply

We just pushed the beds together when this happened.

I always ring in these situations but they may ask you to email as well. Speaking to someone feels more reassuring.
