I booked a self catering place in January for the L’Étape du Tour. It is in a ski resort.
I was charged the full amount at the start.
I have been sent some further information. Towels are not provided( but can be if you pay a supplement) . Things like the pool, WiFi, parking are all extra costs. The pool if open is not open all day.
They take a 500 euro deposit on your credit card when you arrive but I have since found some reviews where people did not get it back. They also said the place was filthy. I am really not looking forward to it.
I have told my husband what I have found and he is now stressed and miserable too.
I have stayed in something similar before and it was ok.
Any one have any ideas on how to guarantee I get my deposit back?
Any one have any super fast and effective cleaning tips?
