Ibiza, Crete, Cornwall - similar vibes

We have been on lots of holidays and city breaks and travelled a lot pre and post kids but for a week in summer exploring, eating and enjoying the surroundings/sea and sun we keep coming back to our favourites of Ibiza (Centre or not main resorts), Crete (Plaka/Elounda area) and Cornwall (all over really but love coastline around Rock). We hire a car and usually get out on a morning to beaches, villages and places to explore and have a foodie nice lunch out then back to pool and chill on balcony and a walk out at night. Kids are 10 and under and get on well so entertain each other and we all love spending time together so don’t need loads of activities yet other than sea bodyboarding and pool fun. (We did mini disco places when they were little but don’t need this now). We want food options to be relatively high end/good quality local fresh eating options for lunch but happy to drive out to these. Happy enough to do half board in hotel or walk out for food in local town in an evening. We don’t like very built up resorts or very overly British themed places. Can anyone suggest places you have loved for relaxing week in the sun if you enjoy these type of places thanks! We feel we can’t beat these but we are looking for other similar places

North-west coast of Mallorca, or even Thailand, which is incredibly family friendly and also has the benefit of lots of animals. Flights are fairly expensive but once you get there, hotels and travel are cheap. We did a trip when the dcs were 12 and under and they loved it.

Los Gigantes in Tenerife.

Plenty of places to drive to locally (Playa de Arena has volcanic sand beach) and can head up towards the inland for great local food.

agree Peurto Pollensa.

We also liked Tossa de Mar when we visited. Nice and small to walk around and beach was a cove type place with a Great Wall to walk around. Lots of eateries and very easy to explore the coastline of your choice what to hire a car.
