Mexico in June

We are looking for a good all inclusive in Mexico for June. We haven't got a massive budget and would like to spend no more than 6.5k for 3 adults for 2 weeks. I've seen loads of hotels on TUI but no idea which resorts etc having never been before. Can anyone help with hotel recommendations or advice? The seaweed thing sounds a bit of an issue too.

Is there a good reason to go to Mexico in June? It’s better in winter. Europe is lovely in June and no need to spend any of your budget on long haul flights!
(to answer the question though, we like Secrets Akumal & Valentin Imperial has been recently recommended to me).

June just works best for us with A/L. We've always done Spain and Greece etc but rarely long haul and I was quite surprised to see there is little price difference. Is it really not worth the long flight? Maybe we should stick to Europe

IMO it IS worth the long flight in winter when you need to travel long haul for the weather and to be able to swim in the beautiful sea, but personally I wouldn't in summer when the weather is good this side of the Atlantic and the hurricane season is starting over there.
