Hi all, its my husbands 40th mid October and were managing to get a week away!

Would prefer a flight 5 hrs or under due to only going for a week, and looking for some sun if poss!!

Any suggestions for hot weather in october pls?! Xx

Do you want hot or warm? Hot under 5 hours flying time might be tricky. Depending on when in mid Oct you’re going you might hit half term too and I’m assuming you want childfree?

Canaries are lovely weather in Oct and Turkey should be ok.

What’s the budget? Look at Ikos in Kos.

The Abama ritz Carlton in Tenerife is lovely

I was going to say The Canaries. People call it “Lanzagrotty” but I loved Lanzarote & found it really interesting. Tenerife was nice too. I haven’t been to Fuertventura or Gran Canaria but have heard good things.

Seville should be lovely - and other places in Andalucia as mentioned by pp. Or Sicily?

Do you want sightseeing or fly and flop?
Depends whether you want "reliable beach weather" or "probably warm".
Greece, Spain and Italy would fall into the first and the Canaries the second.
I wouldn't bother with the Canaries from May to September but for a beach holiday between October and April that would be my choice.
