Travelling with baby

Has anyone recently travelled with Jet2 with a 6month old? We fly out of East Midlands in a few weeks time and wondering whether I can take tins of formula in my hand luggage and cool boiled water? My LO is on comfort milk so I can't take ready to feed bottles. Im thinking of doing click and collect at boots but I'm a little paranoid about not getting his milk etc as it isn't widely stocked in supermarkets. Any tips would be great as our eldest was 2 before we took him abroad due to Covid so taking a baby is all fresh to me. Thank you

Yes you can bring enough water for the journey, just have it separate to normal liquids going through security to make it easier on yourself as they test it due to being oversized.

Thank you. That's reassuring. I'm guessing that I could ask cafe/bar through security for boiling water to make his feed up. Thanks again

I breastfed so have zero experience with making up bottles, but maybe also have a plan for if you're stuck on the plane on the tarmac or massively delayed at the other end, regarding needing another bottle and therefore boiling water for the initial hot shot (?). Although interestingly, in many European countries (hence high hygiene standards) they make up the bottles with water that's cooled to 40 degrees. No hot shot required.

Anyway. Have a good trip!
