Cyprus second half in April - no child

We are finally childfree (DD at uni hopefully) and look into a break in April (after Easter school holidays) next year.

We went to Cyprus 6 years ago and alway said we want to go back as there is still so much to see.

So please hit me with your recommendation for a nice hotel, B&B or half-board with a range of restaurants. AI would be ok but as I assume we will be out most days I would not necessarily look for it.
Beach location, a good town nearby to go to in the evening.

We went to the Atlantica Aphrodite Hills, nice but I would prefer something less isolated.

Budget: £3k for 10 days but I am happy to do more

St Raphael Resort in the Limassol area has a massive choice of dining. It’s about 50m to a blue flag beach and there are lots of cafes and shops within walking distance too.

Colombia beach resort in Pissouri is obviously on a beach and near a small town. It's a nice hotel, with a spa. You do know that it isn't necessarily going to be beach weather in April though? It's not usually warm enough for outdoor swimming until mid May.

Avanti holiday Village in Paphos. Also went in April (2018) and it was brilliant. Got an apartment and went SC but other options were also available.

Columbia beach in pissouri is lovely, but pissouri is more a little village than a town, and you have to drive awhile to get anywhere else.
St Raphael, four seasons, amathus beach, Amara, Poseidonia are all lovely beach front hotels in Limassol.
The beach front bus goes up and down from the hotels to the marina for 2.50e (so you don't have to worry about finding parking which is terrible in town!)
Limassol is in the middle of the island so if you are hiring a car you can head up to the mountains, or do a day trip to Ayai Napa or Paphos easily.

It's not about swimming. I love being at a beach, it doesn't have to be warm. I love the sound, smell and happy to walk for long stretches if it's a larger beach.

We are more thinking of exploring, we went in October 2019 just for a week and really felt we didn't see a lot so it's definitley not designed as a fly and flop holiday.

I’d say Atlantico Mare, it’s a lovely hotel and the swim up rooms are amazing but you’ll probably feel a bit isolated there although we did hire a car and travel around

That looks similar to the Antantico Aphrodite Hills we stayed before, nice but just too far out to walk to a bar or restaurant in the evening.

Atlantic's miramare is another one that is right on the tourist strip in limassol. Right on the beach, within waking distance of more beaches, restaurants bars of an evening, highly recommend Rumours for cocktails, and the step inn for karaoke on a Friday night and a pint of Guinness :) also perfect ice cream/frozen yogurt place nearby. Blue Lantern is right there for a cracking cypriot meal, or you can walk a little further down and you have choices of Jimmy's killer prawns, Hanoi Vietnamese, or burger vans :) whatever you fancy
