Getting to France's Atlantic coast by Eurostar/TGV with kids - easy or nightmare?

the tgv is great, runs on time is clean, pleasant etc. suppose it depends how long your journey in the uk would be. you could always stop over in paris if you need to break your journey up.

I haven't done it with children, but there were children on the TGV who seemed perfectly happy.
We lived in Paris at the time, so agree a stopover is probably good to break the journey.
Its pretty quick going down there though, about 3 hrs I recall to Bayonne- I can still remember the heat blasting you when you step off the a/c train!
Where re you thining of? Biarritz?
The depart from Montparnasse- which is a HUGE station
How old are the DC?

Very easy
the only pain is changing in paris
but it's only one tube line
helps if you have some euros in change first to buy your metro ticket
