As the pound has strengthened against the US dollar, certain destinations that use US Dollar linked currencies have become a good bit cheaper (over 10%) for Brits. For example, a lot of the Caribbean.

Yes, but it might change rapidly.
It's definitely not a good time to go to the actual states though, unless you want to have your phone scoured and face potential summer riots that are predicted to come :(
