There's always Blenheim Palace - there are attractions other than the palace itself, and a train to take you round, but I must admit there is also a lake.

Oxfordshire Country Fayre near Bicester tomorrow - Young Farmers' event.

Grand Fete at Upton House, nr Banbury (was today but also tomorrow)

Peter Rabbit weekend at Cogges manor Farm near Witney (other side of Oxford I think)

Also there are regular family-friendly events every weekend at Modern Art, Oxford; Pitt Rivers Museum; Banbury Museum; Hands-On at Science Oxford; Museum of Oxford. Steam weekend at Didcot Railway Centre. Regular opening at the Bus Museum at Long Hanborough (W of Oxford). Victorian weekend at Chinnor & Princes Risborough Railway

HTH
