Algarve self catering

We haven't been to the Algarve for many years but DD is going with a couple of friends in the summer.

Does anyone have any idea on how much spends she will need to take for a week? She's not 18 so no alcohol. Breakfast will be in the apartment,lunch out and evening meal a mix of cooking and eating out.

She will have her bank card so we can always send her more in an emergency but I was thinking 75 euros per day? They are by the beach so I don't think they will need many taxis. This is her first holiday without family.

75 euros per day will be more than enough unless she has loads of mocktails and goes to beach clubs.

DP and I didn't spend much more than that between us in Mallorca recently which is also more expensive than Portugal and we did the Soller train (came back on the bus so about 60 euros).

But other days were cheaper so it balanced out over the week.

Thank you. That's good to know. I doubt she would go overboard with mocktails and she might do a beach club once. I think she will be wanting to go to more "local" places to eat/ drink.
