Under 8 hours from UK?

Good morning all,

We haven't been on holiday in a couple of years and wanted to go somewhere that was a bit more unusal / exotic than the usual Canaries / Greek Islands in October / November this year but not long long haul from the UK as we will have a 5 year old with us. We will also have a 3/4 month old, but I've been told the baby could be fairly easy going based on friends / family experience / breast feeding / sleeping en route (so please, not judgements).

Does anyone have any suggestions or ideas?

Antigua? 8h 30 mins. Lovely beaches and should be good weather.
Depends how wary of the Middle East you are, but Oman is also beautiful.

Egypt or Morocco? Not too far but not Europe and time difference is not too great.

I’d say Barbados. It’s beautiful and child and family friendly. What is your budget as then you would get suggestions of places to stay? 8 and a half hours from London.
